Alexander Khamdamov Email: [email protected] Alexander Khamdamov obtained his Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law in 2023 and was called to the bar in 2024, after having obtained his B.A. in Philosophy from University College London in 2016. Alexander worked at a full-service international firm prior to joining Ritchie Sandford McGowan. Alexander practices in the areas of criminal law and select civil litigation. Alexander assists Patrick McGowan, K.C. with complex criminal cases, civil forfeiture, and select civil litigation, including tort litigation. He, furthermore, maintains a criminal practice composed primarily of legal aid for low-income individuals who would not otherwise be able to afford a lawyer. Alexander has defended various types of criminal cases and has acted for clients on appeals and applications in a pre-charge context. Alexander also has experience with cases that have cross-border components, having acted for clients in other countries such as Peru and Austria, as well as on a civil case that stemmed from allegations of international child abduction and involved Interpol and mediation under the Hague Convention. In his free time, Alexander enjoys skiing, fishing, mushroom foraging and horseback riding. Alexander has competed in show jumping, and though he often placed poorly in the competitions themselves, he was frequently awarded "Best Groomed Horse" ribbons. Return to Lawyer's Page >
